督令 (Supervising and ordering: The character books now write it as 督, both pronounced *du* + *mu* [dū]. The *Erya* states: '督 means to rectify.' The commentary states: 'It means to keep them on the straight path.' The *Fangyan* states: '督 means to regulate.' The *Shuowen* states: '督 means to scrutinize').
