縵衣（上蒲伴反左傳云降服乘縵杜注云車蓋無文也說文云繒無文也從衣曼聲）。

縵衣 (Plain robe: The first character [縵], pronounced *pu* + *ban* [màn]. The *Zuo zhuan* says: 'He wore reduced mourning attire and rode in a plain chariot.' Du [Yu]'s commentary states: 'A carriage canopy without embroidery.' The *Shuowen* states: 'Silk without pattern; composed of 衣 with 曼 as phonetic').
