白㲲（音牒案㲲者西國木綿花如柳絮彼國土俗皆抽撚以紡為縷織以為布名之為㲲說文從毛疊聲撚音年典反縷音力主反）。

白㲲 (Pronounced like 牒 [dié]. Note: 㲲 [dié] is cotton from the Western Regions; its flower is like willow catkins; the people of those lands pull, twist, and spin it into yarn and weave it into cloth, calling it 㲲. Shuowen jiezi: Derived from 毛 with 疊 as phonetic. 撚 is pronounced 年 [nián] + 典 [diǎn] fanqie. 縷 is pronounced 力 [lì] + 主 [zhǔ] fanqie).
