乞縷雇織（龍主反考聲絲縷也文字集略云合綫也說文亦綫也從糸婁聲綫音思箭反或作線也）。

乞縷雇織 (Begging for thread and hiring a weaver: [縷 is] pronounced with the fanqie 龍主 [lǚ]. The Kaosheng states: "Silk thread." The Wenzi jilüe states: "Joined threads." The Shuowen jiezi also states: "Thread. Derived from 糸 [silk] with 婁 phonetic." Thread (綫) is pronounced with the fanqie 思箭 [xiàn]; it is also written as 線.)
