磔手 (A span of the hand: the ancient form is 㡯; pronounced identically with the fanqie 知格 [zhé]. The Guangya states: "磔 means to stretch out; 磔 means to spread open." The Tongsu wen states: "To stretch and extend is called 磔; this is it.")
