鷓鴣（之夜反下古胡反埤蒼鳥似服鳥而大字指云鷓鴣鳥其鳴自呼飛徂南不北形如此雉也）。

鷓鴣 [zhègū, partridge] (fanqie for the first character: 之 [zhī] / 夜 [yè]; for the second character: 古 [gǔ] / 胡 [hú]. The Picang says: 'A bird resembling the fú bird, but larger.' The Zizhi says: 'The partridge's cry is its own name; it flies south and never north, and its shape resembles this pheasant').
