妖冶（於驕反下以者反周易冶容誨淫劉瓛曰冶妖冶也經文作蠱蟲行毒害也非經義）。

妖冶 (seductive and glamorous: [the upper character is pronounced] 於 + 驕 [yāo]; the lower character is 以 + 者 [yě]. The Book of Changes says: "A glamorous appearance invites licentiousness." Liu Huan says: "冶 means alluring and glamorous." The sutra text has 蠱, which denotes venomous insects that harm others, and is not the meaning of the sutra).
