僥倖（上經遙反下音幸案僥倖者殊其分偶遇得名為僥倖考聲云非分而求曰僥倖並從人形聲字）。

僥倖 (The upper character is pronounced with the fanqie 經 + 遙 [jiáo], and the lower has the sound of 幸 [xìng]. According to examination, "僥倖" [good fortune / luck] refers to that which exceeds one's due measure and is obtained by chance encounter, hence it is called 僥倖. The Kaosheng says: "Seeking what is beyond one's due measure is called 僥倖." Both characters take the person radical [亻] and are phono-semantic characters.)
