嫌代去（上叶兼反文字集略云嫌心惡也說文嫌疑也從女形聲字也）。

嫌代去 (The upper character is pronounced with the fanqie 叶 + 兼 [xián]. The Wenzi jilüe says: "嫌 means malice in the mind." The Shuowen says: "嫌 means suspicion." It takes the woman radical [女] and is a phono-semantic character.)
