面皺（下莊瘦反正從芻作皺論文作皺俗字也因草書略也考聲云皺皮聚也文字典說云皮寬聚也從皮芻聲芻音惻于反）。

面皺 (for the second character, zh- + -ou in fanqie. The standard form takes 芻 as the phonetic to make 皺. In the treatise text it is written as 皺, which is the popular character, simplified due to cursive script. The Kaosheng says: '皺 means the gathering of skin.' The Wenzi dianshuo says: 'It means loose skin gathering together.' It takes skin as semantic and 芻 as phonetic; 芻 is pronounced ch- + -u).
