Nimble and agile (輕捷; the lower character is qian + ye [fanqie]; the Kaosheng says: "Jie means agile and swift." The Shi commentary says: "Jie means victorious." Du's commentary on the Zuo zhuan says: "To overcome;" and also says: "To achieve." The Shuowen says: "To seize; what an army captures; with the hand radical and the phonetic 疌." The pronunciation of 擸 is lan + za [fanqie]; 疌 has the same sound as above).
