虛誑（下居況反考聲云誑欺之以言也賈逵注國語云誑猶惑也杜注左傳云欺也文字典說亦惑也從言狂聲）。

False and deceitful (虛誑; the lower character [誑] is fanqie 居況. The Kaosheng says: '誑 means to deceive someone with words.' Jia Kui's commentary on the Guoyu says: '誑 is like bewildering.' Du's commentary on the Zuo zhuan says: 'To deceive.' The Wenzidian shuo also says: 'To bewilder.' It is composed with 'words' (言) as semantic and 狂 as phonetic).
