堅鞕（下額更反字書又作硬也廣雅云𩋸堅也說文從革㪅聲㪅正更字也）。

Hard and stiff (堅鞕: the lower character has the fanqie [é] + [g]èng; character dictionaries also write it as 硬. The Guangya says: '𩋸 means hard.' The Shuowen says: 'It takes gé as radical and gēng as phonetic; gēng is the correct form of 更').
