雰霏（上拂雲反蒼頡篇雰霧也下孚非反毛詩傳曰霏雨雪皃也詩云雨雪霏霏也古今正字云雰雪皃也霏霏雪甚也二字並從雨分非皆聲也）。

Mist and falling snow (雰霏; the first character is 拂 + 雲. The *Cang Jie pian* states: "雰 means fog." The second character is 孚 + 非. The *Mao Shi Commentary* states: "霏 is the appearance of falling rain and snow." The *Shijing* says: "Rain and snow fall profusely (霏霏)." The *Gujin zhengzi* states: "雰 is the appearance of snow. 霏霏 means heavy snow. Both characters are composed of 'rain' (雨), with 分 and 非 as their respective phonetics").
