盲瞽（上陌耕反說文盲謂目無眸子也下姑五反說文無目曰瞽並從目亡鼓皆聲）。

Blind (盲瞽): the first character is [pronounced with the fanqie] 陌 + 耕. The Shuowen says: 'Máng refers to eyes having no pupils.' The second character is 姑 + 五. The Shuowen says: 'Having no eyes is called gǔ. Both characters take the radical 目 (eye), and 亡 and 鼓 are respectively phonetic.'
