桄梯（上音光考聲作橫云橫於中也亦謂牀橫也下體奚反說文梯木階也前第四十三卷已釋訖）。

Runged ladder (桄梯: the first character is pronounced guāng; the Kaosheng writes it as 橫 [crosswise], saying: 'Placed crosswise in the middle; it also refers to the crossbars of a bed.' The second character is pronounced ti-xi [tī]; the Shuowen jiezi states: 'A 梯 is a wooden flight of steps.' Fully explained above in Fascicle Forty-Three).
