澡漱 (the first is zao-cao fan; Gu Yewang says: "'Zao' is like washing clean." Shuowen jiezi says: "To wash the hands; it takes shui ('water') as semantic and qiao as phonetic." In the treatise it is written with cao ('grass') as 藻, which is an error. The second is sou-[ting-(de-chi)+pi] fan; Gu Yewang says: "'Shu' means to rinse and rinse out." Gujin zhengzi says: "It takes shui ('water') as semantic and shuo as phonetic").
