嘷𠮧 (the first is hu-gao fan; the Chuci says: "Tigers and leopards howl (hao)." Shuowen jiezi says: "'Hao' is like roaring; it takes kou ('mouth') as semantic and gao as phonetic." The second is jiao-qiao fan; Gu Yewang says: "'Jiao' means to cry out." Shuowen jiezi says: "A loud sound; the orthodox character is 嘂, taking ji as semantic and [tu-chu] as phonetic." Anciently written as 䚯, 𠸵, or 曒. In the treatise it is written as 𠮧, which is a vulgar character. 㗊 is pronounced ce-li fan; [tu-chu] is pronounced ji-liu fan).
