嫉𩋆（上秦悉反王逸注楚辭云害賢日嫉說文從女疾聲下客顏反考聲𩋆遴也古今正字從革臤聲論作慳俗字也）。

嫉𩋆 [Envy and stinginess] (The first character has the fanqie 秦悉 [qín + xī]. Wang Yi's commentary on the Chuci says: 'Harming the worthy is called 嫉.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'It is formed with the "woman" semantic component and the phonetic 疾.' The second character has the fanqie 客顏 [kè + yán]. The Kaosheng says: '𩋆 means parsimonious.' Ancient and modern correct characters write it with the "leather" radical and the phonetic 臤. Its form in the treatise as 慳 is a vulgar character).
