嗤誚（上齒之反字書嗤戲笑皃也文字典說從口蚩聲或作㰩[山/虫]字從㞢從虫㞢古文之也下樵笑反孔注尚書誚讓也或作譙也）。

Sneer and ridicule (嗤誚: the upper character has the fanqie chǐ + zhī. The Zishu says: '嗤 is the appearance of laughing in mockery.' The Wenzidian shuo says: 'Derived from 口 [mouth] with 蚩 [chī] phonetic; it is also written as 㰩; the graph [山/虫] is derived from 㞢 and 虫; 㞢 is an ancient script of 之.' The lower character has the fanqie qiáo + xiào. Kong's commentary on the Shangshu says: '誚 means to rebuke'; it is also written as 譙).
