根栽（宰猜反鄭注禮記云栽植也案栽種也種植草木曰栽從木從𢦒省聲𢦒音灾）。

Roots and saplings (根栽: zai-cai [fanqie]. Zheng [Xuan's] commentary to the Liji says: "栽 means to plant." I note: 栽 means to plant; planting grass and trees is called 栽. It takes its semantic classifier from 木 'wood' and a reduced 𢦒 is the phonetic. 𢦒 is read zai).
