溉灌（上基懿反於戲反韻英云澆灌也說文云溉亦灌也顧野王云溉猶灌注也從水既聲也）。

溉灌 ("to irrigate"): The first character has the fanqie reading [k- + -əi = gài] (基懿反 [or 於戲反]). The Yunying says: "To water and irrigate." The Shuowen says: "溉 also means to irrigate." Gu Yewang says: "溉 is like pouring water on. It is formed with the radical 水 ('water') and 既 as phonetic."
