毫氂（又作毫同胡高反下古文氂綀二形今作耗同力之反漢書律曆志云不失毫氂孟康云毫兔毫也十毫曰氂三蒼氂毛也今皆氂理也古字通用也）。

Hairbreadth (毫氂: also written as 毫, identical; fanqie 胡高 [hú + gāo = háo]; the lower character in ancient script is written as 氂 or 綀, two forms; nowadays written as 耗, identical; fanqie 力之 [lì + zhī = lí]; the Lüli zhi of the Hanshu says: 'Not erring by a single hairbreadth'; Meng Kang says: '毫 is a rabbit hair; ten 毫 make one 氂'; the Sancang says: '氂 means hair; nowadays both mean subtle threads'; ancient characters were used interchangeably).
