扇搋半擇迦（勑隹反舊經論中或言般吒或云般茶迦皆方夏輕重也半擇迦此云黃門惣名也其類有五今此第三扇搋半擇迦者謂本來男根不備亦不能生子也）。

Ṣaṇḍha-paṇḍaka (扇搋半擇迦: fanqie: ch[ì] + [zhu]ī. In older sūtras and treatises it is called般吒 or 般茶迦, which are all differences in regional accents. Paṇḍaka is translated here as eunuch, which is a general name. There are five types of them; here, the third, the ṣaṇḍha-paṇḍaka, refers to one whose male organ was fundamentally deficient from birth and who cannot sire children).
