Kuru continent (俱盧洲: translated here as 'Superior and Excellent', also called 'Born of Excellence'. In older sūtras it is written Uttarakuru [欝單越, 欝怛羅越, or 欝多羅拘樓], which are all phonetic variations in Sanskrit).
