磽确（苦交反下胡角苦角二反孟子曰磽确薄[塉-月+日]地也通俗文云物堅鞕謂之磽确地堅則不冝五穀也）。

磽确 (qiāo in fanqie: 苦 + 交; the following character què in the fanqie: 胡 + 角 and 苦 + 角. Mencius says: “Qiāoquè means thin, barren land.” The Tongsuwen states: “When things are hard and stiff, it is called qiāoquè; if the ground is hard, it is not suitable for the five grains”).
