紫礦（古猛反謂波羅奢樹汁也其色甚赤用染皮㲲也其樹至大名氈叔迦一花大如斗極赤葉至堅肕𧶜人縫以為袋者也肕音刃）。

紫礦 (*kwaengX*, [fanqie for 礦:] 古猛反; refers to the sap of the *palāśa* tree. Its colour is exceedingly red, used to dye leather and fine cotton. The tree is extremely large and called *kiṃśuka*; a single blossom is as large as a peck measure, extremely red. Its leaves are exceptionally tough and durable; local people sew them to make bags. 肕 is pronounced *nyinH* [刃]).
