至杪（彌遶反木細枝謂之抄通俗文樹鋒曰抄方言杪小也郭璞曰抄者梢微少也）。

To the tip (至杪): Fanqie: 彌遶 [miǎo]. A thin branch of a tree is called a chāo. The Tongsu wen states: 'The sharp tip of a tree is called a chāo.' Fangyan: '杪 means small.' Guo Pu says: 'Chāo means slender and minute.'
