坑穽（古文阱菜二形同慈性反說文穽大陷也廣疋穽坑也三蒼穽謂穽地為陷所以張禽獸也）。

Pitfall (坑穽: in ancient script occurring as 阱 and 菜, both the same; fanqie 慈性 [cí + xìng = jìng]; the Shuowen says: '穽 means a great pitfall'; the Guangya says: '穽 means a pit'; the Sancang says: '穽 refers to hollowing the earth to make a pit, used to trap birds and beasts').
