薟苦（古文薟今作蘞同理儉理沾二反說文薟白蒼也蔓生於野者也）。

Bitter creeping vine (薟苦: ancient script 薟, nowadays written as 蘞, identical; fanqie 理儉 [lǐ + jiǎn = liǎn] and 理沾 [lǐ + zhān = lián]; the Shuowen says: '薟 is the white vine, creeping in the wild').
