縛喝國（呼曷反北臨縛蒭河其國中有如來澡罐可一斗餘眾色炫焴金石難名又有佛牙又有佛掃帚迦奢草作也長二尺餘圍七寸其把雜寶飾之也）。

縛喝國 [Balkh / Baktra] (pronounced with the fanqie 呼曷 [h- + -at = he]: Borders the Vakṣu River to the north. In that country there is a water-pitcher (kuṇḍikā) of the Tathāgata holding over one dou, with dazzling colors, difficult to describe as either metal or stone. There is also a tooth of the Buddha, and a broom of the Buddha made of kāśa grass, over two feet long and seven inches in circumference, with a handle adorned with various gems).
