屋宇（古文㝢籀文𢉠同子甫反說文宇屋邊擔也釋名云宇羽也如鳥翼自覆也於國則四垂為宇也）。

屋宇 (Ancient script 㝢; seal script 𢉠; identical. Fanqie: 子 + 甫 [yǔ]. The Shuowen says: "宇 means the eaves around a building (屋邊檐)." The Shiming states: "宇 is like feathers (羽); it is like a bird's wings covering itself. In the case of a realm, the four drooping borders constitute its 宇.")
