Clarified butter (sarpir-maṇḍa) 醍醐 (The first character has the fanqie 第泥 [tí]; the second character has the fanqie 戶姑 [hú]. Clarified butter is the most refined, non-coagulating substance extracted from ghee. The Wenzidian shuo states: 'Both are composed of "wine/ferment" (酉) with "shi" abbreviated (是省) and "hu" (胡) phonetic respectively.')
