溼煗（上深入反顧野王云溼潤也古今正字云幽溼也從𢆶從一覆土而有水故溼也𢆶古文幽字也論文作濕非也下奴短反說文煗溼也從火耎聲耎音而兖反）。

Moist and warm (溼煗; the first character is pronounced with the fanqie 深入 [shī]. Gu Yewang states: '溼 (shī) means moist.' The Gujin zhengzi states: 'It means dark and damp. It takes 𢆶 and 一 covering the earth with water beneath, hence moist. 𢆶 is the ancient character for 幽 [dark].' In the treatise text, writing it as 濕 is incorrect. The second character is pronounced with the fanqie 奴短 [nuǎn]. The Shuowen jiezi states: '煗 (nuǎn) means moist warmth. It takes "fire" [火] as radical and 耎 as phonetic; 耎 is pronounced with the fanqie 而兖 [ruǎn]').
