瞿陀尼（或作俱耶尼或云瞿耶尼或言瞿伽尼皆訛也瞿此云牛陀尼此云取與以彼多牛用牛市易如此間用錢帛等或云有石牛也）。

瞿陀尼 [Godānīya] (Sometimes written 俱耶尼, 瞿耶尼, or 瞿伽尼, all of which are corruptions. *Go* translates here as 'ox'; *dāna* translates here as 'giving and taking' [commerce]. Because oxen are numerous there, they use oxen for trade, just as coins and silks are used here; or some say there is a stone ox).
