Pedicel of a flower (花蔕; pronounced with the fanqie 丁計 [dì]. The Kaosheng states: 'The 蔕 (dì) is where a fruit connects back to its leaf.' The Shuowen jiezi states: 'The 蔕 is the stem of melons and fruits. It takes "grass" [艸] as radical and 帶 [as phonetic]').
