痰等（上唐甘反文字集略云疾病也考聲云疾胷鬲音格中水病也文字典說從疒女戹反炎聲論作淡非也）。

痰等 (the first character is pronounced [fanqie: 唐 + 甘]; Wenzi jilüe says: "An illness." Kaosheng says: "An illness of water accumulation in the chest and diaphragm [gé, pronounced 格]." Wenzidian shuo says that it is composed of 疒 [sickness] (pronounced [fanqie: 女 + 戹]) with 炎 as the phonetic. In the treatise it is written 淡, which is incorrect).
