一桄（古文橫𤗶二形今作桄同古黃反聲類作輄車下橫木也今車床梯輿下橫木皆曰桄是也）。

A crossbeam (一桄: anciently written in the two forms 橫 and 𤗶, now written as 桄, both with the fanqie 古黃, *guāng*; the *Shenglei* writes it as 輄): the horizontal timber beneath a cart. Today the crossbeams beneath carts, beds, ladders, and palanquins are all called *guāng*.
