Or an otter (或獺: the two fanqie readings are 他曷 [tāhé] and 他鎋 [tāxiá]. It resembles a small dog, lives in water, and eats fish. The treatise text writes 狙, which is [fanqie] 都達 [dūdá], the name of a beast; 狙 is not the appropriate character here.)
