匕首（補履反劒名也周禮考工記云匕𩠐劒身長三尺重二斤一兩輕而便用也其頭似匕因曰匕𩠐史記荊軻左執匕𩠐是）。

Dagger (匕首: [匕 is fanqie] 補履 [bǔlǚ]. The name of a blade. The 'Kaogongji' in the Zhouli says: 'A dagger-sword has a blade three chi long and weighs two jin and one liang; it is light and handy to use.' Because its tip resembles a ladle, it is called a bǐshǒu. The Shiji says: 'Jing Ke grasped the dagger in his left hand', which is this.)
