不齅（休救反說文云以鼻就臭曰齅從鼻從臭臭亦聲也臭音昌呪反經文從口作嗅俗字非正也）。

不齅 (Does not smell; [fanqie:] xiu + jiu. The Shuowen says: "To approach an odor with the nose is called xiù. Derived from 'nose' and 'odor,' with 'odor' also being the phonetic element." 臭 is pronounced with the fanqie chang + zhou. The sūtra text writes it with 'mouth' as 嗅, which is a vulgar character and not the correct form).
