躊蹰（上長流反又音池並通韓詩云愛如不見掩手躊躇踟蹰猶躑䠱也或作踟蹰猶徘徊也古今正字並從足形聲字也）。

Hesitating / pacing back and forth (躊蹰: the upper character is chang plus liu fanqie [chóu], also pronounced chi [chí], both acceptable. The Han Poetry says: 'Loving as if out of sight, clasping hands and hesitating [chouchu].' Chichu (踟蹰) is like pacing back and forth [躑䠱]. Sometimes written 踟蹰, meaning wandering to and fro. The Gujin zhengzi says both are classified under 足 [foot], phono-semantic characters).
