鵽鳥（竹刮反爾疋注云今鵽大如鴿或言如鶉似雌雉鼠脚無後揩歧尾為鳥憨急群飛出於北方沙漠地也肉美俗呼名突厥雀生蒿菜之間憨音呼濫反）。

Sandgrouse (鵽鳥: zhu plus gua fanqie [zhuò]. The Erya commentary says: 'The present-day duo (鵽) is as large as a pigeon, or some say like a quail, resembling a female pheasant, with feet like a rat lacking a hind toe, and a forked tail. As a bird it is stupid and hasty, flying in flocks, coming from the northern desert regions. Its meat is delicious. Commonly called the Turk sparrow [Tujue que]. It lives among wormwood.' Han [憨] is hu plus lan fanqie [hān]).
