羈絆（上寄冝反傳文作羇非也前第二卷已釋下鉢判反考聲曰絆繫兩足也說文馬馽也案馽者亦馬絆也傳文從革作靽非也馽音知立）。

羈絆 (halter and tether: the first character is pronounced 寄 + 冝 fanqie; transmitted texts writing 羇 are incorrect; it was already explained earlier in the second fascicle; the second character is pronounced 鉢 + 判 fanqie; the Kaosheng says, "絆 means binding both feet"; the Shuowen jiezi says, "A horse shackle"; we note that a 馽 is also a horse tether; transmitted texts writing it with 革 as 靽 are incorrect; 馽 is pronounced 知 + 立 fanqie).
