黭黮 (dark and gloomy: the first character is pronounced 鴨 + 檻 fanqie; the second character is pronounced 直 + 感 fanqie; the Shenglei says, "黭黮 means deeply black"; Gu Yewang says, "Not bright and clean"; the Shuowen jiezi says it is derived from 黑 and 弇; transmitted texts writing with 黑 as 黤黮 are vulgar characters; 弇 is pronounced 淹 + 撿 fanqie).
