瘡痍（古文戧刃二形今作創同楚良反說文創傷也下羊之反通俗文體創曰痍頭創曰瘍云）。

瘡痍 (in ancient script written with the two forms 戧 and 刃; now written as 創, all pronounced with the fanqie 楚良 [chuāng]. The Shuowen jiezi says: "創 means a wound." The second character is pronounced with the fanqie 羊之 [yí]. The Tongsu wen says: "A wound on the body is called an yí (痍); a wound on the head is called an yáng (瘍).")
