Rolling stones (礧石: the Yunji gives the pronunciation as [li + bei >] *lèi. It means throwing stones at things. In contemporary characters, stones rolled down from a city wall to strike bandits are called *lèi*. In the treatise text, it is written as 雷, which is a phonetic loan).
