Target mound (培的: pronounced [pu + lai >] *péi*. 培 is a low wall; banked earth of an embankment. Here it should properly be written 埻. 的 is pronounced [xie + yin >] *dì*. The Tongsuwen states: "An earthen mound for archery is called 埻; the bullseye inside the 埻 is called 的").
