Knitting the brows (顰蹙: the second character is jiu-yu fan [cù]. The Zuozhuan says: '蹙 means urgent.' The Guangya says: 'Hurried; pressing.' The Kaosheng says: 'To gather.' The Wenzidian shuo gives it deriving from the foot radical with 戚 as phonetic. The scripture deriving from the head radical, written [(厂@(止/少/足))*頁], is incorrect).
