Calf muscle (腨腸: the first character is chuan-yan fan [shuàn]. The character dictionaries say: '[跳-兆+專] means the gastrocnemius of the calf.' The Gujin zhengzi gives it deriving from the foot radical with 耑 as phonetic; it is also written with the character 腨. 腓 is pronounced fu-fei fan [féi]).
